Olivia Rodrigo has fans talking again after unveiling the cover of her upcoming third studio album, and this time the buzz is all about the artwork. In the newly released image, Olivia is seen upside-down on a swing while wearing a pink dress, instantly triggering comparisons online to a famous painting from the 1700s.

GMA Entertainment reported that many fans linked the album cover to Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s 1767 Rococo painting The Swing, which also features a woman in pink on a swing. Because of the visual similarity, fans started speculating that the new album’s look may have taken inspiration from the classic artwork, kaya ang daming art-history detectives sa social media bigla.

The conversation got even more interesting when some fans noticed that actor Louis Partridge had previously posted an image of the same painting on Instagram. Olivia and Louis reportedly ended their relationship in December 2025, so naturally, online chatter quickly mixed art analysis with breakup theories and old receipts.

The report also noted that Louis had joined Olivia during her GUTS concert stop in the Philippines, which was the singer’s first visit to the country. That detail only made Filipino fans more invested in the story, especially now that her next album era appears to be moving away from the purple-heavy style associated with her previous releases.

Olivia’s new album, titled You See Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, is scheduled to drop on June 12. It will be her third studio album after SOUR and GUTS, and while the official tracklist has not yet been revealed, the new visual direction alone is already enough to keep fans locked in.
